Come and join the fun of the first ever Peninsula Shiver Soiree!
The Baie Verte Peninsula will be the site of an exciting new winter festival hopefully this will be the 1st annual. The Festival will take place over a three day period from March 15 – 17, 2013 and will culminate with a spectacular closing event in Baie Verte. Encompassing snow machine races, gourmet delights, dances, hockey games, a curling bonspiel, kids events, concerts and musical performances in various venues around the Peninsula. We will be celebrating all aspects of the best of winter in Newfoundland and Labrador during this high profile event.
The Dorset Trail Tourism Association volunteer committee are the hosts of this event. We intend to showcase the Baie Verte Peninsula as a winter sport and cultural hot spot, full of innovative outdoor events, food, music and new ideas.
